The application for the Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarships Program for Masters, PhD and non-degree postgraduate studies at USA Universities is open. Scholarship is open to approximately 4,000 international students of more than 155 countries worldwide. The application deadline varies per country. The scholarship is available at all accredited US universities and academic institutions.

About The Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarships Program

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals and artists from abroad to study and conduct research in the United States. The scholarships are for Master’s or PhD degrees. Also, it can be for non-degree postgraduate studies. Study and research under this program is for one or more years at US universities or other appropriate institutions.

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program is administered by binational Fulbright Commissions / Foundations or U.S. Embassies. All Foreign Student Program applications are processed by these offices.

Eligible Field of Study

The Fulbright program encourages applications from all fields, including interdisciplinary ones except medical degree program or clinical medical research.

Selection Criteria and Eligibility

To participate in the Fulbright Foreign Student Program, the applicant must have completed undergraduate education and hold a degree equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.

Value of Scholarship

The Fulbright program provides funding for the duration of the study. The grant funds tuition, textbooks, airfare, a living stipend, and health insurance.

How to Apply?

All applications to the Foreign Student Program are processed by bi-national Fulbright Commissions / Foundations or U.S. Embassies. Therefore, foreign students must apply through the Fulbright Commission / Foundation or U.S. Embassy in their home countries.
