On April 20, we’re hosting Startup School East, a one-day event where you’ll hear stories and advice from founders and YC partners.
Hear how some of the most successful people in Silicon Valley got started, the mistakes they made along the way, and what they wish they’d known at 22.
All of YC’s partners are flying in for this one — so if you’ve been looking for an opportunity to meet them, this is it.

We’ll be chartering buses to travel to and from schools around the Northeast. Sign up early if you’d like a seat on one of the buses.
EARLY S24 INTERVIEWS:
On April 21, we’re conducting in-person interviews for the Summer 2024 batch for current undergraduate or graduate students at universities in the northeastern US. To be considered, apply to YC by April 12 at 5pm PT.
The details:
- Answer the question “If you have a referral code” with this string: EAST24
- At least one founder on your team must be an undergraduate or graduate student at a university in the northeastern US.
- Everyone on your team must be within driving distance of Boston.
- If you get selected for an interview, you’ll hear from us by April 19.
- If you are not selected, your application will automatically be reconsidered during our regular admission cycle.
