Netflix continues to update its collection of African movies in order to hold on to its subscribers. In this post, we will be revealing four African movies that are coming to Netflix in June 2020. So, if you love African movies or a fan of everything Africa, you should watch out for these movies.

This is an African Movie showing how people are trying to escape a hospital. On a bloody night in a place where we are supposed to feel safe, a young man and his beloved are struggling not to reach the hospital. They are tying to run away from it. They are trying to survive the night.

Merry Men 2: Another Mission

Since the release of the part 1, things have changed for the charming foursome, the Merry Men. They’ve hung the boots on robbing the rich to give to the poor and focus squarely on running their businesses. Merry Men 2 continues the adventures of Ayo, Naz, Amaju and Remi on another fast-paced and high-tension mission. This time though, they may be way in over their head, egged on only by their love for and desperate determination to save Kemi.

In this Spike Lee move, Four African American vets battle the forces of man and nature when they return to Vietnam seeking the remains of their fallen squad leader and the gold fortune he helped them hide.

This Zimbabwean film @CookOffZim will premiere on Netflix on the 1st of June 2020, becoming the first independent Zimbabwean film to be acquired by Netflix. The rom-com is a story of a single mother who enters a reality cooking show competing with professional chefs.

Single mother Anesu’s life is turned upside down when her son enters her into a reality TV competition. This African movie is a refreshing view of contemporary life in Harare, Zimbabwe, told through the lens of a classic romantic comedy.
